I keep coming back to a wonderful place. The friendly staff once returned my forgotten things. It suits my needs perfectly with Wi-Fi, Free parking, 24-hour reception, Restaurant, Airport shuttle. Coming back for xmas.

The value for money at Sunshine Tourist Rest was exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the paddy fields. The location was close to the Old Town and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast items could have been more varied.

Clean, comfortable rooms with daily fresh towels and sheets. Helpful owner who arranged tours and tuktuks. Beautiful view from balcony over rice paddies. Delicious, well-priced food available on-site. Bikes offered for easy exploration.

We stayed at the Sunshine Tourist Rest for three nights during our visit to Anuradhapura. The room we had overlooked the beautiful rice fields, providing a stunning view. The home-cooked food served at the hotel was delicious, with a great variety of local dishes. The location of the hotel was perfect, away from the town center, allowing us to enjoy the abundant birds and wildlife around. The historical sites and town were easily accessible by bicycle, and the owner was helpful in providing guidance and recommendations. a delightful and enjoyable stay.
